Important information for sailors: Dredging of the entrance to Dragør New Harbour – Spring 2026
The entrance to Dragør New Harbour has been partially dredged. This means that there is currently a navigable channel with a minimum water depth of 2.5 metres. However, it has not been possible to dredge the entire marked entrance, and reduced water depth remains on the south-eastern side/end of the entrance.
Sailors are advised to follow the buoyage and keep to the western side of the entrance. Light-coloured areas indicate shallower waters.
To ensure safe navigation into Dragør New Harbour, the innermost port lateral buoy has been moved from position 55°35’25.3”N 12°40’59.2”E to a new temporary position at 55°35’24.5”N 12°40’56.7”E. It is expected that the buoy will be returned to its original position as soon as further dredging can be carried out.
The Notices to Mariners NM-909-25, which announced the reduced depth in the entrance, will be updated.
All sailors are still advised to exercise extra caution when entering the New Harbour.
